Water crisis affects construction
Up to 400-thousands dependents may be affected if major construction projects around Windhoek are halted as a result of the water crisis.
The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) has estimated that the water crisis may cost 40-thousand jobs.
There is an urgent need to research new water sources and develop water supply infrastructures in Namibia.
Conscious Communiversity, a community development aid organization, has been embracing this serious matter by venturing into water source research and the development of water infrastructures, since the January threat of Windhoek City running dry by September 2016.
